Training dates
The training is available in four languages:
- 14 September 2026, 17:30–18:15 – in Ukrainian
- 15 September 2026, 17:30–18:15 – in easy-to-understand Finnish
- 16 September 2026, 17:30–18:15 – in Russian
- 17 September 2026, 17:30–18:15 – in English
Who is the training for?
The training is intended primarily for Industrial Union members with a foreign background who can follow the training in English, Ukrainian, Russian or easy-to-understand Finnish.
All Teollisuusliitto members are welcome to participate. You can also join simply to practise your language skills.
What will you learn?
A shop steward is an important representative of employees and the trade union at the workplace.
During the training, you will learn:
- what a shop steward does
- how a shop steward is elected
- what rights a shop steward has
- what responsibilities a shop steward has
- what kind of protection a shop steward has in their work
After the training, you will have a better understanding of the role of a shop steward. You may even consider becoming one yourself.
