Where can I find my membership card?

Your Industrial Union membership card and membership insurance can be found in the OmaTeollisuusliitto app, where you can also access your member benefits. You can download the app from an app store.

Authentication in the app can be done with your personal online banking ID or a mobile certificate.

After logging in for the first time, you can log in to the app using a PIN code or biometric identifier—that is, fingerprint or facial recognition.

In which languages does the OmaTeollisuusliitto app operate?

You can use the OmaTeollisuusliitto app and the OmaTeollisuusliitto online service at oma.teollisuusliitto.fi in Finnish, Swedish or English. Your membership card, insurance and benefits are available only through the app.

I have a new mobile phone. Where can I download the OmaTeollisuusliitto app?

You can download the OmaTeollisuusliitto app from an app store.

How often does the OmaTeollisuusliitto app need to be updated?

You do not need to download the OmaTeollisuusliitto app again, as it will update automatically if you have enabled automatic updates in your smartphone’s settings.

Which mobile phones are compatible with the OmaTeollisuusliitto app?

The OmaTeollisuusliitto app works on almost all relatively new Android and iPhone smartphones. After downloading, you can find the app in your smartphone’s app menu. You can also add it to your device’s home screen. The instructions for storing the app can be found on your phone.

Where can I get an insurance certificate if I don’t have a mobile membership card?

You can

print out your travel insurance certificate through Turva’s online service at www.turva.fi (requires authentication).
request a certificate by calling +358 1019 5110 or pick one up at a Turva branch office.
order a certificate at www.turva.fi/teollisuusliitto, and it will be delivered to you by email within three weekdays.

I don’t have a smartphone. Where can I learn about the Industrial Union’s membership benefits?

You can learn more about membership benefits on the Industrial Union’s website at www.teollisuusliitto.fi/en/membership-benefits. We also regularly provide information about benefits through other union channels, such as social media and the magazine Tekijä.

Will a change of local branch be updated in the OmaTeollisuusliitto app?

Yes, it will be updated in the app.

You can call the Industrial Union’s membership service and order a certificate through there.

Can I manage my membership matters in the OmaTeollisuusliitto app?

Yes, you can. Here are some of the things you can do in the app:

You can find the contact information for the personnel representatives at your workplace.
You can add your bank account number.
You can change or add your address, phone number and email address.
You can add your workplace or office—that is, the location where you work. This is important information, especially in the event of an emergency!
You can notify an exemption from your membership subscription if you are ill, unemployed (Note: Unemployment can only be reported up to the current date), performing military service, on parental leave or a student. (Membership subscriptions à “Add membership subscription exeption” button)
You can enrol for training.
You can fill out a travel invoice for expenses for union events or training. See instructions

I’ve already downloaded the mobile membership card; can I continue to use it?

The membership benefits associated with the previous mobile membership card will expire on 2 November 2026, and the physical membership card and insurance coverage will expire on 30 November 2026.

After these dates, you will be able to find your membership card, insurance and benefits in the OmaTeollisuusliitto app.
