Membership payments as a precondition for membership

Membership payments are a precondition for membership. So please remember to pay them regularly!

Members can be expelled from the union if they have not paid their membership fee in six months. According to the unemployment fund regulations, three months of unpaid membership fees are sufficient grounds for dismissing a member.

Do not forget to notify the member register of the grounds for membership fee exemption (e.g., maternity or paternity leave, sick-leave, unemployment).
You must also notify the member register of any changes in contact information, employer or contract industry.

If you have not paid your membership fee or notified the union of a period of fee exemption, please contact the union member register immediately and agree on the procedure for paying the membership fees and maintaining your membership.
